I just reposted/translated what I found, you can contact and/or submit bugs to the developer, there a link on the github page.

does the n9 have fm transmitter feature enabled as well???

Re: [Announced] FM Radio by Andrey Kozhanov

Note that whilst andytolst and javispedro have worked wonders to get us a working FMRX and a clean install, you do need to have developer mode enabled for it to all work properly.

Actually, it does have a search feature; a long press on the frequency adjustment buttons will seek for channels

Version I've got seems quite happy to go down to 87.5. Don't have any FM channels at that frequency here in the UK, so I can't say for certain that it works though.

FMTX? No, not yet. According to javispedro, who did all the hard work to get FMRX working, it appears that there is still a question of whether the N9 has all the relevant hardware to support it. He only has an N950 (which does not) so cannot say for certain if it is possible. There may be others working on this, but none that I've come across

I installed it without having developer mode turned on and it works fine. It's missing RDS though.

Interesting. Didn't work here without developer mode. Although ... hmm ... I wonder if it was the reboot (that switching on developer mode required) that was the actual fix.

I forgot to reboot, just installed and it ran it when it's done, no resetting or enable/disabling developer mode.

Depending on your signal this does work without using the headphones as an antenna. YMMV, of course

In my case, BT remains active after exiting the app. I have to manually turn BT off.

Yeah and I plugged in the headphones too (btw should a headphone icon appear alongside the clock at the top-i.e. at the launcher screen)

Rebooting didn't work either and I know I have good enough strength. There are two broadcast antennae in less then 1 km radius.

Thanks, works nicely with stereo headset as antenna.

Thanks everybody for your comments regarding my FM Radio.

And now commercial version (with new fancy skin) is officially available on Ovi Store: http://store.ovi.com/content/262564 and doesn't require Development Mode for installation.

Official support site is http://fm-radio.mobi/ where you can also see it in action.

I'm so pissed off, I get get a messae that 0.2.2 update is now avalable, I then clicked on Update, installation failed, I then unistalled my Radio App and rebooted the phone and tried downloading again, it still keeps failing to install and now my Radio is gone, I use it eveyday on my way to work. Andrey Kozhano better do something about this.

Re: [Announced] FM Radio by Andrey Kozhanov

There a lot of people complaining about this. Ia m not sure if this is a Nokia Store issue, or something else. But, I suspect that the name change from "FM radio" to "FM Radio RDS" might have caused this problem.

Re: [Announced] FM Radio by Andrey Kozhanov

Hello Everybody,

Unfortunately RDS update 0.2.2 went not so smooth. Please do not un-install the application it won't help and do not press update buttons more then 10 times, otherwise OVI store will ask you to pay again.

There is NO downloading problem with the package - there is some kind of mismatch happened after application name change.

OVI Developer's Support is working on it and issue will be solved in couple of days, I hope.

A few days ago I've got 1.0.0 version of the FM Radio from Andrey for beta-testing and I could say it will be a B:):)M

Do not want to spoil here now, but prepare for major improvements. Stay tuned, changes will be posted on http://fm-radio.mobi or subscribe in twitter https://twitter.com/#!/zelenkovsky

I'm in the same situation... this download limit is silly.

Sorry, but the issue is out of our control (it's somewhere in Ovi Store), and Store support team is working on it now.
Unfortunately Ovi Store doesn't provide any roll-back function, so we can't even roll-back to previous version 0.1.5 :(

We will try to make an update as soon as possible.
Again, sorry for any inconvenience.

BTW, you can still use free version 0.0.7

Regards,
Andrey

But you can get your money back if you ask it from store support. If you got the ordernumber from that first buy.

nope, Nokia still investigates the issue (now trying to re-publish the package)

Again, you will see a clear note on fm-radio.mobi when it's fixed.

Thanks for your patience.

Re: [Announced] FM Radio by Andrey Kozhanov

UPDATE: Nokia QA are f**king idiots.

They deleted the old version from the store, and didn't upload a new one.

And now they can't test new version because... they installed it without Developer Mode, and it doesn't work.

I start to think that they make it intentionally, everybody remember that story with extraplugins.

I would not completely agree with you... I used to work in Nokia R&D as a contractor on Harmattan platform. So I know how things are going in R&D department, and actually you can see how our N9 software looks...

And it was really surprising to discover such a mess in Ovi Store department... Looks like Nokia doesn't care about their image anymore.

Or might be they just want to close Ovi Store, as all the new software will be moved to MS Marketplace anyway (since they have only WP phones now).
