Well, I'd clicked of course and re-read Reggie's announcement again. I just did it a third time, and still fail to see how that relates to vabgeo's suggestion.

Or are you implying that this new page Reggie speaks of in this thread is something temporary, pending further integration of ITT in maemo.org ?

Let me quote it directly (emphasis mine):
We will lose some parts of itT however like the news, wiki, and software sections in favor of maemo.org’s actual News, Wiki and Download sections.
Software is going away, so there's really no point in investing time improving it.

As Reggie mentioned, the software section is a collection from the Maemo's download page. Check this link

So it is a different way to view the Maemo Downloads.
I think this is related to the freedom 1 and freedom 3 mentioned here.

Oh and I thought comments where welcome :D
