How to connect N900 to Keyboard SU-8W?
I'm very happy with my new (old) N900. I'm using it as my daily phone! And this in the year 2018! Thanks to this great forum!
Now I'v got a Nokia bluetooth Keyboard SU-8W. Well, it is paired to the phone. Bluetooth-menu shows the correct keyboard-name. But it seems to be no connection. It's not possible to write anything. I've read something about problems with the keyboard here in the forum, but I've got no solution. I thought, the keyboard runs "out of the box"...? My N900 runs with the latest Fremantle CSSU. Any ideas? Thank you very much! |

Unfortunately Nokia SU-8W hardly ever runs out of the box, although might have with Belle FP2 devices. You might like to start with this resource:

Re: How to connect N900 to Keyboard SU-8W?
Though there are some problems: The "Main Keys" are running fine. But I don't find Key-settings for "!" or "?" for example. I choose "Generic 105-key (Intl) PC" as layout. I don't know if there's a better layout for the su-8w.
Edit: "!" and "?" now works. But itīs really difficult to find the correct signs. It would be very helpful to get a su-8w layout for extkbd. |
