Re: N900 overheating
Nothing to worry about. It's the WiFi parts that get hot. The CPU should stay relatively cool.

Re: N900 overheating
That's a problem with pretty much every phone. Managing bittorrent connections is a pretty CPU-intensive task(I think), that's why. And keeping a data connection open at the same time and sending data to multiple receivers and receiving data will take it's toll.
Decrease the number of connections in the bittorrent client and it will probably get less warmer. But you will get slower speeds. |

Re: N900 overheating
The main heaters in your phone:
- 3G transmitter - GPU - WiFI transmitter - Battery Try playing bounce, torrenting over your 3G, running a local hotspot with joikuspot and charging the N900 at the same time... :D |
Re: N900 overheating
One hour skype call through wifi, while charging, got my N900 quite warmed up. :P

I started noticing mine was overheating too when I was playing and charging at the same time.. I thought it's somehow fudged up due to too much floor dropage. Glad to know it's normal. |
