I had one of those phones in my "office" once. That sound strikes terror in my heart, since every call coming in would start with: "Hey Rob, I've got a customer on the line with me and he's got a problem with . . ."

Did you ever use that awful "Are you there?" Cisco "ring". That one could make anyone jump out of there skin. Here they are. The female one was even more startling than the male, but both were just terrifying.

My favourite ringtone is "Winning" from the N9. "Waterways" from the 808 Pureview is a close second.

For what it's worth, the official Nokia ringtones (in MP3 format and WAV, even the mono/polyphonic ringtones from the classic bricks) are on the Nokia Design Team's Soundcloud account.

I don't have a favourite, I just like a standard non intrusive sound. If I wanted something to stand out of the crowd I think this would be a fun ringtone

Haha. Mine is the noise of a Dragon 32 cassette tape loading although it frequently gets mistaken for a modem like the one in the clip you posted. It does cause some strange looks. What I like about it is that it serves an additional purpose - I can load it with an emulator on my N900 and play the game.
