I thought i would just share some info

Mplayer
i tried to compile mplayer but found that the codecs do not work on an arm based processor otherwise it compiled fine but not very useful without win32 codec support. I was thinking about emailing who ever compiled the version for Zaurus to get some help

Ethereal
This was a no go had many issues while trying to compile.

antiword
This turned out really well now i can convert word .doc documents to pdf on my 770.

dialog
This worked out well now I can write simple scripts with console gui very exciting. :)

Xdialog
No support for gtk1... so maemo said no sir i will not comply

Where are the debs?
 

Did you post the debs anywhere? Or are they out there--I could use that dialog program.

I can put together a deb but i will need to recompile to put it somewhere so as to not need root to install. Check back this weekend.
