Camera phone competition June 2015:"Engineering"
Here's a new theme for this month.
briest says: Engineering. Circuits and clockworks, tools, vehicles, machines, factories and dams -- anything that was crafted for work.Engineering is really as wide as you want it to be. I am going to definitely contribute this month because I will have more time after school is over. Here are the rules: Photos must be taken during this month Photos must be taken by the posting member Photos must be taken with a camera phone Users post only one photo per entry Users can change the entry only once Users must name the phone they used (so I could include it for voting) Last three days of this month are for voting Happy shooting! Re: Camera phone competition June 2015:"Engineering"
HI everybody
Here are my picture trying to fix my PC. The charger was out, and I was too broke to buy an other one (100$ :p yeah i know ). So I decided to open the PC, cut the charger cord and plugged it directly to the PC (Yeah I know it's weird). Now, everywhere i carry the PC, I have the charger plugged (Which is twice weird). :D ;) http://oi57.tinypic.com/s31xzt.jpg Here are the other photos to have an overview of all the things - http://oi60.tinypic.com/wl2fzr.jpg You can see the N900 on top left :p - http://oi61.tinypic.com/15wzax2.jpg - http://oi57.tinypic.com/rt2fr6.jpg Taken from a galaxy Nexus but photos was taken last month :( |

I really like this month's title - it's somehow what I'm doing and what I have always enjoyed to do.
Being in Hong Kong today. There is a small island called Tsing Yi on the way to the airport and a small un-wellknown view point locates at northwest side of the island. I asked the taxi driver stopped near the observatory and climbed all the way up in 35"C sunny wet weather and nobody else was there. The view was magnificent, if the weather wasn't that hot or an AC equipped cafe was nearby I would stay until evening and take the twilight photos from that point. http://i2.wp.com/www.liangchenchen.c...d-p1010069.jpg http://i1.wp.com/www.liangchenchen.c...d-p1010070.jpg These are taken from two different sides from the view point. It does show certain level of engineering right? ;) I'll choose the second one for competition and they are taken with Panasonic DMC-CM1. =================== Edit: I hope no one is having troubles displaying pictures. If there is trouble, I'll edit the post to show link only. |

This month I am field testing the Jolla as a main phone, and as it happend it has supported me in digitizing this image of a familiar, yet still charming piece of backyard upgraded Italian engineering. Hi.
This reminds me the test laboratory where I used to work: a small GSM network with all its nodes. :D Regards. |

This picture wasn't actually taken for the competition. I was trying to make easier to reconnect those eletric cables since the motor was going to repair. Eventually, I quite like the light (or the lack of it) and just decided to submit it. Taken with n900, as always. |
