Re: [Announce] cooktimer for N900
So I'm usuing cooktimer on a daily basis now. Thanks for this useful program!
I found just 1 bug: - when editing the dishes, it is not possible to save names that contain non-ASCII characters Further ideas: - the menu entry 'edit items' could be named 'edit dishes' to match the wording of the main screen. Also, the title of that dialog uses 'dish' again. - the red 'SAVE' button is more difficult to read (depending on the theme used, I guess) than e.g. the 'Add'. I'd suggest a more maemo'ish way and using default theme colors. - To further maemofy that dialog, the 'Add' and 'Save' buttons could be renamed to 'New' and 'Done', respectively, and moved to the right side, while the list of dishes remains center/left (similar to how e.g. the addressbook's 'edit contact' dialog works). :) |

I like the rounded buttons :) |
Re: [Announce] cooktimer for N900
@ade
I`m running 0.0.3-14 here but was present in previous versions too. There is some problems with rotation mechanism: http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/2807/q5e.png http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3163/m9s6.png After that cooktimer completely freezes: its GUI for sure but I`m not sure about alarms (if they are gone too and won`t ring). It happened to me few times already, but I can`t provide You steps to reproduce it. Some dishes were overcooked :p |

I have never seen this, but will keep a close look at it. If other users have seen this please report, maybe that gives more info. |
Re: [Announce] cooktimer for N900
This is true it is version 0.0.3-13. The latest as "Pick Duration" missing and as coloured Start/Stop buttons.
While I like the new layout I find the grey text on green for the Start button is hard to read. I have never had the issue above, on any version of cooktimer. @artpra What version of CSSU? What settings are you using in cooktimer's rotation options? Do you have any steps to recreate it? |
