Phone Camera Competition May 2022: "Cheesy"
 

First thought was Kitsch. But i am not sure if that is translated to cliché internationally nowadays. So we will look for cheesy, tacky and corny things this month.
That should possibly provide some of the multi dimensional aspect ric9k asked for.
But i am not at all sad if you take the food implications literally. Yum.

Rules

• Photos must be taken during this month and posted before voting starts (photos must be taken between announcing the theme and starting the voting).
• Photos must be taken by the posting member.
• Photos must be taken with your phone's camera.
• Post processing is allowed but you have to say what you did.
• Users must name the phone and software they used.
• Users post only one photo per entry.
• Users can change the entry only once.
• 3 day voting period starts on May 28th at 22:00 UTC and ends at 22:00 UTC on May 31th.
• Winner of the vote will have the honor to choose the next month competition theme.
• You are allowed to continue off topic on this thread after competition.

Ok, so then this is a on dimensional meaning of the cheesy topic.
I tried to make the new fountain my wife wished for -> not kitschy. But the Chinese provided IP67 led lights with the solar driven, battery buffered water pump. And she topped it off with see through minerals and glas "stones".
And thats how we ended up with this tacky piece of kit in the garden.

As a photo competition submission, this is a fail: it is not kitchy at all and thus does not fit the theme :D

This is the view of our garden from the top floor window.

Things accumulated over the years:

• First came the hanging chair.
• Then the swing set.
• Then the playhouse.
• Then a trampoline. Not this one, a smaller one. To just about fit while still allowing access to the playhouse. But it wasn't good enough.
• Last weekend we had an upgrade.

That's it. There is no way to fit anything else in the garden.

I seem to have problems with this month's topic... nothing I see is appropriately cheesy, in the sense of being kitchy, AND worth a picture.

Thanks, mosen, for the summary. And thank you, Fellfrosch and ric9k, for your votes. I do not mean to offend you, but... I suspect you only voted for me to make a point about the mad world and not because of the quality of my submission (which, let's face it, was rubbish). If I am wrong, I apologize.

Therefore, I suggest that nonsuch should have the priority.

A lot of people, here + in the countries around, have too much things. We buy too much, we throw too much, things become obsolete or break too early, all this s..ks and is cheesy, not serious.
So in a way, yes, the subject and the pic related is not so bad, I think.

But I admit; mostly I liked this very much, it made me lough:
