New firmware released! Minor update PR1.0.1 needed for upcoming PR1.1
Checked new updates and there was maemo5. Any news what will be updated?

I already have it installed but it is not (yet) the "big" PR-1.1 update. You can see in the build number that it is only two weeks newer than the pre-installed version. Don't expect too many changes. At least the update is really easy and worked for me without a problem :)
I am not sure why they have released this "old" version instead of releasing the build 51 (PR-1.1). Maybe there are problems and they (Nokia) want to show some support for the community... |

Who is the first brave one to update? Havent had a single problen in current version, so gonna wait a moment and see what happens.

Device just rebooted itself after update and says "succesfully updated". Phone just got more laggy than ever. Cannot even write sms... let me see if i can reboot this one more time.

FW available in Sweden.
This is just an update right? Not a totally new FW which requires you to use NSU. |

Updated: kernel, application manager, tablet-browser-controls (what is that?).
Probably 3 SIM and/or reboot fix mainly. |

In Poland the update went ok. The only thing I've noticed - new icons in the app manager when I try to download something.

seems to work just like 42-11.. update worked fine, thank god no restart loop as with first diablo updates...

This just seems to be odd. After updating i cannot play any mp3:s or videos anymore with original mediaplayer.
After removing ogg support (and flac) they play just nicely. So, no more FLAC support? Not enough time to install ogg/flac again and see if it starts working. Maybe later today. |

no one really knows at this point. i hope it fixes the three sim cards as its bol**x not being able to use mine.

I think the people who don't see the update have this problem because of caching
I don't have a device, so i can't try, but look around the app manager for a refresh/update button, or reboot |

maybe its a virus designed by apple/HTC fanboys disguised as an update? did someone check the repository it's in? hehe

Installer complained about lack of space so had to do a reboot. After that went fine. Just now got couple of widget updates and update to Bounce :)
Was kind of waiting for this to happen now. First update on new platform would have been pretty risky over holidays. |
