I'll no longer be maintaining this project since the patchmanager-3-alpha uses the same method as prepach (in fact it uses or at least used to use some of my code) and is much cleaner, more...

Since older demos (mapbox-sfos) were C++ apps with Mapboxgl linked, it indicates that some chages in MapboxGL are responsible for better stability. Great news!
