Re: Sailfish OS future

My future of sailfish worry is volte*. Looks like all US carriers are dropping 3g in the near future, so voice is gonna have to go all packet switched whether SFOS is ready or not. :( UBPorts seems...

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

Not exactly what you wrote but close. There is a community port to Xperia XZ2 Compact made by Rinigus. XZ2 Compact is really compact and nice device.
He even made compass work which Jolla can't do...

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

Problem is that these devices tend to sell out (due to no longer being produced), so new buyers cannot get a new phone to run Sailfish on.

(The only alternative would be to buy two phones, one a...

- X no longer maintained by base image / kernel, but otherwise a nice device with good build quality
-...

Re: 3.3.0.x Rokua

Me too.
File with configuration for all providers is updated.

From one side it should update your configuration during OS update if it's changed. But this file is updated manually on gitlab.

Re: 3.3.0.x Rokua

I would ask my daughter but she is at her (virtual) class right now. I just sent myself an MMS (the first MMS I have ever sent in my life!) and it arrived fine.

I'm...

Re: Flatpak on Sailfish OS

Its absolutely correct. I think it is in the context of making Flatpak apps running Silica/Sailfish stack. As developed here, though, it brings functionality that is not available to SFOS, such as...

Sadly, it did not fix the distorted sound when making a call. It...
