WPA with pre shared key should work if you have a only a common password to login.
If you login to the network using individual user names and password you'll have to use EAP.

The OP comment is misleading. QT 4.6 has support for multi touch. However, since the N900 is lacking the hardware to implement multi touch the firmware having QT 4.6 is not going to make the N900...
