Re: Sailfish OS on Sony Xperia Tama devices (XZ2, XZ2c, XZ3)

I once successfully flashed another XZ3 with your SFOS 3 port using Jolla's batch script, Sony's fastboot and the sa0119adb driver. So in general all should be fine ...

Apparently some detail...

Re: Sailfish OS future

Of these issues, so far I only encountered the first - but realy very rarely (it must be months ago, now). I am using an XA2 on 4.1 as my daily driver and I am quite happy since I have less issues...

Re: Sailfish OS on Sony Xperia Tama devices (XZ2, XZ2c, XZ3)

Rinigus, that is great news! I closely followed the issues with hybris-10 and thus guessed that 4.1 will not be a simple OTA apdate. Infact, I appreciate your decision to go with aarch64 and leave...

Re: Jolla Tablet - Issue updating to 4.0.1.48

I only had this problem when updating from 4.0.1.45 (EA) to 4.0.1.48 (EA) but waiting a while and a simple manual reboot (long-press the On/off button) did the job. It is now running fine without any...

Re: Sailfish OS on Sony Xperia Tama devices (XZ2, XZ2c, XZ3)

Ok, I found some minor issue: apparently audio routing to USB does not work. I tried to feed an external DAC with the XZ3 via USB. When the DAC is plugged into USB, audio is still routed to the XZ3...

Re: Sailfish OS on Sony Xperia Tama devices (XZ2, XZ2c, XZ3)

I am not sure what exactly the question is:

Do you want know whether you should downgrade to Android 9 before flashing SFOS?

I guess, the answer is "no", because that is what is written in...

Re: What's the best Handheld gnu/linux machine for 2017?

At least with the N900 the Stylus is indispensible IMHO when using EasyDebian because the desktop symbols are so small you cannot easily hit them with our finger. That is why Easy Debian on the N9 is...

Re: What's the best Handheld gnu/linux machine for 2017?

@Venemo:
In my opinion the GPD people got one thing right (in contrast to the Gemini people) and that is providing a trackpoint. For me, this is indispensible when using a Desktop OS like Ubuntu....
