Re: MyDocs as NTFS

I don't know the details, but NTFS on such an old Linux system, cannot be a good idea.

Even on modern systems, the rule is: if you can avoid it, don't use it.

If you have problems with FAT32...

Smile Re: U-Boot for Nokia RX-51 with BootMenu (updated version 2012.10-rc3-1)

Thanks reinob!

The existance of a plaintext script in the binary was the hint I needed.

Re: A Palm OS thread ... and a thank you to the community

I don't believe I ever had a Symbian device . . . I used a couple Sony Ericsson phones with what I believe to be a proprietary OS. In 2006, I think it was a K510. You could run Java apps on them, but...

Re: A Palm OS thread ... and a thank you to the community

Re: A Palm OS thread ... and a thank you to the community

You can enable a SD card on GarnetVM and then use a standard PalmOS backup application to quickly load/restore. It was my first post on this forum :)

Actually it was my second message :)...

Re: Microb and TLS 1.2

I haven't had to make my own OS, I've been using what's installed on the phone for years. This is the first hiccup I've had because of "old age".

Anyway, I've finally had a chance to look...

Re: Fixing USB port, before and after it is to late. (All info in one Thread) (See POST #1)

I tried and succeed replacing the usb port today.

I de-soldered the old plug -which was broken inside- and replaced it with a new one that I ordered some years ago.
I had an old elecronics iron,...

Re: Camera phone competition November 2019: bicycle

This is probably going too much OT, but I'll tell it anyway. When riding a fatbike, I usually try to stay on trails and to avoid roads as long as I can. Usually that means not making some reasonable...
