I said place the echo line BELOW the given -f ... line, not above it.
Placing the line above it will cause an infinite reboot loop!

Please fix it ASAP (you dont't want a reboot right now)

Yes, there certainly is :D. I assume you have one big partition on your MicroSD card, which would then be /dev/mmcblk1p1 in Maemo. The mkfs.ext2 comand will wipe that partition, backup your data from...

Well, new version is up. I personally never upgraded to the "problematic" libsdl-ttf2.0, and this worked for me, so I guess it will work at least for everyone who also did not.

For micro SD

Then copy your baseq3 folder to the quake3 folder in the root of your MyDocs / micro SD

Little progress here. We have working 'gui',but when the game start i get sigsegv from asm code. it is bigger problem for me I hope that i can solve it. I hope that next post will be better.

My eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be so I found the small fonts used in the N900 to be less than ideal. I searched for a way to increase them so that I can read them without wearing my reading...

the desktop-files are stored in /usr/share/applications/hildon/
just take a look at one of those to know the content...
or simply copy to anywhere else and edit it :)
