Thanks for these words. And you are absolutely right, CLI is not for all.
Allthough I am no GUI guru ;) there can be collaboration between my work, and those developers that actually can do GUI...

Mer & Sailfish OS need more packagers & maintainers. There are softwares/projects with more than 100,000 lines of source-code, with many dependencies, that aren't ported yet.

I think the majority of packagers & maintainers (for Mer, Sailfish, MeeGo Harmattan, Maemo 4 & 5, Debian, Open Suse, etc) are also developers.

They aren't. They use Gecko from Mozilla for the browser engine wrapped in their own UI. It's not like the Symbian browser days when Nokia maintained their own S60 fork of Webkit.

Last point is moot anyway. We're at a stage where nano SIM is becoming default in more devices (which in turn is the sucessor to micro SIM) so don't esxpect a regular SIM slot in a modern smartphone...
