Re: Pebble Bluetooth Watch App for N900 or N9?

Has anybody gotten any further with connecting the Pebble to the N900? I am stuck using my Nexus phone just because I love the Pebble! I'd rather use my N900...

Re: Due for upgrade. Where to from N9??

I went to a Nexus 4 a few months ago. Lovely phone. It doesn't have any extras on top of Android so is nice and clean and Google seem to provide updates regularly. I'm also on a SIM only contract...

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

Re: [ANNOUNCE] CSSU-thumb thread - stable Thumb2 on N900

Just to say that I upgraded a couple of days ago and there has been a marked improvement in the performance of my little N900. The system seems significantly faster and memory usage seems down as...

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

Well, I'm back (yet again) to using my N900 as my main phone.

I went over to the dark side for three months. ;) I bought a Nexus 4 directly from Google. The phone died a miserable death last...

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

My N900 is my only phone and has been for more than two years. Did try an Android for a short time but quickly came back to the fold. Keyboard is essential as is X terminal. Love being able to run...

Re: links2

Ah, sorry! I'd never used the graphical interface before. Looks nice but defeats the purpose (for my needs, of course!). Emacs (the X version) suffers from the same problem, however, and it is...

Re: Java SE Embedded 6u10 runs seamlessly on N810 OS2008 v5.2008.43-7

I've just installed Java (based on link above) on my N800 and it works like a charm. Basically, I downloaded the tar.gz file from the Sun site, extracted it in my file space (using 'tar xzf...

Re: Scientific apps on N810?

Update: The repository is back. I've installed maxima and am now a very happy camper! True symbolic computation on a computer this size is just awesome.

Re: Single-pane outliner (TKoutline?)

Emacs with org-mode (http://orgmode.org/) does exactly what you want... but YMMV in terms of the interface etc! I bought my N800 for exactly this reason and this reason alone (everything else is a...

Re: Announcing port of emacs for maemo

By "pointers" I was referring specifically to the xkbd (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=8114) on-screen keyboard which allows for input to X applications. I've been playing with this and...
