Try taking out the battery, hold down the U key, plug in the USB to the PC and then put the battery in while keeping the U key pressed

u could put it in r&d mode and flash it.

take off the battery, connect to charger and FLASH

Have you tried NSU (Nokia Software Updater) ? It's one of the few things that works with PC sute on the N900. It's worth a shot.

Haha. With a maximum socket accept queue length of 1, just opening the port to the outside world would have bringed PalmOS to its knees.
