Stolen Mode = not a single SIM is authenticated.

Provided you entered the correct device lock code and are able to operate the phone, you need to authenticate the SIM that is currently inserted....

Open a shell terminal, become root.

The solution is much easier :D. There is a different way to activate device lock which does also disabled the power button. I will add this info to Phone_control (http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control)...

A few days ago I found out how this could be done: By directly modifying the database that stores these messages. I assume smscon could even remove them by itself after recognizing them as a command.

As long as the password to mount TrueCrypt partitions is also stored on the phone, there is no security. Same applies when there is a mechanism to mount those partitions just by a click on a desktop...
