It was a nightmare to get the Fastboot driver running on Windows 10. Windows 10 somehow wanted to be extra smart and secure and refused to install Sony's driver.

Yes, but partitioning has been done from recovery.

This is for POWER users with F5122! Normal users shouldn't do it!

Seems like EMMA does not work with F5122 as it just gives me a message saying "No available services matched the connected device" :(

If I wanted to sell my Xperia X I would leave SailfishOS on. Would sell for more I guess :)

In general most people would not notice any difference if there would be AOSP installed without the DRM...

It maybe true.
Probably EMMA simply install the latest stock firmware to an unlocked Xperia X. The same firmware you should receive via OTA.

Same here. I hope that's ironed out in the official release, as I basically have to use the nonstandard 3G APNs for my carrier in my area.

* None of the UTMS bands the phone supports are available, so 3G/LTE is no-go.
