I have been using those patchs for a long time and i didn't need to reflash my phone.
If you want some games, install preenv and webos games manager. You will be able to play some games for palm...

Yep, that's all!
It's not advised to switch between Stable and Testing.
Stable to Testing maybe possible and Testing to Stable is more than likely to mess a lot of stuff up.

Make sure you read the wikis on these things before you install.
Kernel Power has a lot of features that are CLI.
If using Kernel Power for SmartReflex you could install QCPUFreq.
