Well, I didn't much effort into N8x0 (I have N810) yet, I mainly focused on N9. On N9 it's slower than the Nokia's 3.1 & 2.7 of course, but not really bad I think. I even got pip to work through...

Occasionally. I even tried to buy a spare N800 from the Goodwill auction site, but it got a little too rich for my blood. I've been looking just a little into any bluetooth keyboards that might work...

Does it have a debian directory in the source? If not, try copying one from the old source in repos. Then run the following command while inside the source directory. And it should produce a .deb...
