Use the arrow toggle in the lower left hand corner to switch to selection mode (like in the browser). Once you've selected what you want to copy go to the top and click on the Xterminal dropdown...

20%? That's a pretty good knowledge base for a product that is not even on the market yet! I'd say less than 1% of all mobile phone users in the US know that the n900 exists.
