In your screenshot you have 802.11b/g/n which is OK, no need to change. Do you have any devices other than N900 and are they able to use the wlan without any problems? If so then your router should...

You need to be root to use ifconfig. Else use "sudo ifconfig".

If you are going to reflash (both rootfs and eMMC), make sure you save your backup on your computer / sd card first. Also, make a manual copy of the contents of the MyDocs folder, just in case.
