Just a note, writing to sudoers directly is dirty :)

How about instead making a file called
/etc/sudoers.d/sliderotate.sudoers :
user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/local/bin/install-xrandr-kernel

I just did that, and think I found a bug. If I uncheck the zoom option and save, it won't rotate, but it will when I recheck it and save.

Arg, using dbus-monitor --system only returns me the value for the Hal device which I am sure you do not want.

I have a little leaked file from Nokia that should help me in this mission, brb.

Why? Because all these packages are from diablo, not from chinook. I recompiled all of these using diablo sources, libs & SDK.
