I used to have a very basic nokia phone(1100) and an decent laptop(Dell Inspiron 6000) before. Once N900 arrived I sold them both.

Did you drop your phone or applied lot of pressure before the issue happened? I saw similar symptoms with my wifes galaxy s which was dropped from 1 foot high. No scratch or dent on screen and touch...

You should not. Science tells that mobile signal will be weak near hilly areas. I keep it in my pant pocket as signal will always be good near a tower. ;)

The above file has the folder name hardcoded as finalname = "/home/user/MyDocs/" . So all recorded files are falling into this folder. I am the noobest here...

I had couple of bubbles after applying the screen protector, but it dissappeared after 3 days of normal use. If the bubbles are new i suggest you to give it 3 or 4 days and if possible keep the phone...
