I've seen dedicated gps systems pick up on satelites and get locks when in planes. It is possible that the N900 just isn't as capable GPS-wise, what with being filled with a bunch of other hardware....

I have finally uploaded the new experimental version 0.5 of kernel-power-settings.
It has lots of useful features and should make life easier but it's very different from the old kernel-load script....

This program can only set frequencies from available in system. If you are using default kernel you can only chose from 600 550 500 and...

I managed to restore mine. It was
apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr
followed by a reboot.
Edit: it might also be mp-fremantle-003-pr or something else depending on your...

Well, I have a hack solution for right now that works. :) It's not super pretty, but it makes the current version of flite work (AND it works with maemo-mapper)!
