Yeah, openrepos don't work any more with the stock browser. That also means, for freshly flashed devices, one cannot download essential apps like n9repomirror or aegishack any more. Have to download...

No, it didn't work well years ago when I was using the N9. With Opera was stuck at the code request, with MeeFox it was slow and touch didn't work well, additionally leaving MeeFox opened drains...

Both scenarios apply to some extent.
As long as you do not install google stuff you are safe from their eyes; however using openrepos means you need to trust the community developers. I would say...
