The updated version's .ini file is now called QtLockscreen.ini.default so if you want to use it just remove the .default at the end.

I very much agree with this! There's no lack of decent video players and there's very little Instictiv could do to differentiate itself. Instictiv's strength is its UI but that's not really an issue...
