Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

It's nice to see people still come here and post. I think my device may end up being a 2G detox device for as long as 2G stays active in my country

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

I think I will charge up my N900 and see what I can use it up to these days... Or maybe just play with it a little bit out of pure nostalgia :) My original N900 had the infamous issues with modem,...

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

I don’t use it as the main phone but is fully functional as for Jan 25th 2023, but it could use a new battery for sure.

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

I think that I continue use N900 until Maemo 7 (Leste) is every way as good as Maemo 5 with powerkernel then I move to Pinephone (not Pro) as main phone...or continue use N900, it's size is so handy.

Re: How many of you still use N900 as main phone?

That depends on what you call a "brick". I know for a fact that the N900 felt better in my pocket than any 5" brick I tried ever since, however thin they might have been.

Re: The Dreaded SIM-X Death - forced everyday N900 to Pinephone/Mobian

The paper trick on the SIM worked, still going to keep at making the Pinephone my primary.
The N900 is still a favored backup though.
The Pine might be alpha rough but getting back to being able...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

OT but... you do realize that hair and nails do not grow after death, don't you?
That rumour was born from the illusion of them growing by the corpse drying out that causes the skin around the hair...

Re: Gemini PDA (the return of the Psion Series 5MX)

Yesterday I've succeded configuring 3G/4G for mobile data on Debian 9.6 for Gemini 4G.

I haven't tried SMS or phone calls, it needs more configuration and I won't use them on my Gemini.
