When the device is in deep suspend, nothing is actually running. Things dealing with sync (for instance) wake the device up from suspend, as does network activity, alarms, and so on.

For default services you should stick with using mask/unmask as disable/enable will probably not work, as they're linked in /usr and not in /etc.

Yes, Nokia always had their own proprietary headset wiring and Nokia phones always needed special Nokia-compatible headsets. Jolla OTOH is not Nokia.
