It's still charging and the area on the right side is somewhat warm. I guess that means that it is taking a charge. If the battery actually recharges and the unit boots up, I'll update this...

I had http://maemo-hackers.org/apt in my application catalogue and the log flagged that as the problem. I disabled it and now can refresh.
