RX-34_DIABLO_4.2008.23-14_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin is not the flasher, but the firmware. Follow the instructions to download the flasher (I don't remember and the wiki is currently down) and reflash...

Yes, it will work... :)

You just need to save the firmware bin file on you PC. Once you start the update wizard it will go through and detect your N810. After this it will show you available...

I would say it depends on what settings you originally used to convert the videos. Also I would take into account how long it takes your computer to convert videos.

As long as you have a good way to run it.. try whatever you want.. take off Run as Root.. see if it works.. if not put it back on.. you can even try the rootsh...

I don't use Sirius :).. can't really test it. I don't see why it shouldn't.. I've used a command with spaces in the launcher of Personal Menu and had no problems.. and since rootsh is like a sudo it...

And mine was just a guess as well.. if you install rootsh then no.. it wouldn't ask for a pass if it was a sudo/su thing I do not believe..

Do this; install rootsh, then in the personal menu...

I don't believe it should ask for your password. However I'm not familiar with exactly how personal menu handles the "run as root" checkbox, so my answer is definitely not the be-all end-all :P

Install personal menu or personal launcher.

Then, add an entry and type the following as the "command to execute":

python /home/user/MyDocs/sipie.py

Make sure the "execute as root" box is...

The repositories don't seem to be down as much as they were in december but if Nokia wants to persuade developers to move their packages to Maemo Extras then they should improve the uptime.
