hmm google synv has always been broken for me... an easy way around this though is sign up for a free account at nuevasync.com which is a third party google contacts and calendar sync. it just works...

The easiest way to get Google Calendar syncing working properly is to use Erminig rather than going the exchange sync method - It's still in -devel so all the usual warnings and caveats apply, but it...

I had to do a complete re-sync after the upgrade. Go to Settings and scroll down to the last entry. I did not change any settings and it has been working well after that one-time re-sync.

I had the same problem, contacts became "invisible" (i couldn't place the same shortcuts on the desktop, but could add other contacts). I tried restarting and it did nothing. Then I powered down...
