I do not recommend it to people who only wants to install it, just to play games, and not to test the software and help developer.

go to /home/user/ in xterm, and write "rm .psx4all".
then you can reconfig keys at next start up.

use the firefox extension "down them all" to capture all the link of a webpage, then you can set it to save only the SWF files. Make things quicker.

Assuming you have a wad on your media card:
Ctrl-Shift-x (to open xterm)
cp /media/mmc1/mydoomwad.wad /opt/doom/wads/

You can press the "Tab" button in xterm to auto-complete the directory...

however, the Swedish guy in the N900 walkthrough mantions that it has a digital compass ..
