Made a new dock, well i remade a new dock, got this dock to fix and could not fix it, it had failed after some time and audio stopped working, but since i could not fix it i could keep it since owner...

The 808 got it all. It isn't Maemo but it sure as hell is a real upgrade....

Please refer to the N900 RescueOS (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=75369) which basically has the same functionality and more. The charging initrd is dead.

Strange. But I think it may be R&D mode that helped, if You've used no lifeguards option via flasher.

anyway, You can check it by disabling R&D mode (fvia flasher), if it will end in reboot loop,...

i fixed it by flashing pr1.2 image then pr1.3 then the emmc

Screw emmc, just flash 1.3 *then* framebuffer kernel - you'll be able to see on which part of booting process something goes wrong.

This way, people have un-puzzled most mysterious problems, like...

Interesting thread, my N900 also shut down whilst plugged into a car charger. Now in endlessly reboots when connected to pc via usb or mains charger. I can't get it to boot past the 5 dots, it always...

Huge ********, cause N900 is Open Device (to be 100% precise, at least in this matter), and even Nokia Care don't try to use flashing kernel as voiding warranty. Joys of sending phone to "amators",...

get the battery charged. having it on a walcharger should charge it without booting.

only two ideas:
1. something goes wrong with the flashing. i see aou have the images and don't need to download them. if you flash both images don't use the -R on the first! so that you don't reboot...

I'd try flashing a framebuffer kernel: http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/maemo/kernels/framebuffer/zImage-fb-omap1-pr13 Then, you can watch it boot...
