Well thats how windows tablet PC does it. When you click a little mouse picture pops up and you drag over to which button you meant. Though, isn't this game real time?

if the popup is essential for the game, I would recommend assigning a key which is found from both N800 and N810. Menu key would be natural selection if it isn't used for something else

In FreeCiv there were some long clicks similar to tap_and_hold, you can check how they made them. In fact there were normal, middle and long.

I believe that Widelands is using libsdl-mixeroggwav package, which is static libsdl-mixer library with ogg support. You should be able to use it as a replacement for libsdl-mixer.

Either talk to the new debmaster, or grab the source from debian (http://packages.debian.org/lenny/libguichan-0.8.1-1), which already has the required packaging information.
