Also...if I haven't mentioned it before...and I think I haven't...concerning sd cards...for your external storage get 32gb class 4....may seem like under-kill :D ...but the 32gb will work and class 4...

1st - the battery post hack is meant more as a stationary rather than travel...power surging stuff and all with car charging equip I believe.

I suggest steering clear of alternative batteries...get original bp-5l batts you can find them refurbed where a company has "rejuiced" them....up to around 95% -ish ...and cheap too...on ebay....
