Thanks for your explanation. I can't imagine how will this frame will be attached to the rest. But, how about 3d scanning the plastic part of the case, then making it 0.5 mm deeper and printing it?...

I don't mind that it will be 0.5mm thicker, I just mind that there will be a gap.
I would gladly pay more if the Neo900 was physically the same as the n900.
