this didn't work either, the mdir command didnt work since that folder was already there somehow and I forgot what the second command evoked. no worries though, i just reflashed and spent 3 hours...

For me, the script was definitely the culprit...? weird. unless it was conflicting with something i had installed recently but I doubt it because i only ran the script and as soon as i rebooted it...

I just want to point out that this script did take my rootfs from 34 MB to 86 MB
....but within the first 5 minutes I realized one (minor yet aggravating) side effect. all my themes are completely...

OK guys, got a workaround and have successfully installed 8 of the apps I wanted, it's a shame most of them are kind of, meh. anyway I spoke to soon earlier in the post when i said web proxies...

this should do it. go to Settings > phone > data counter > reset.
I think the app just takes it from there and not from the service provider directly.
