Thanks for the offer. But n9 doesn't seem to have a whole lot of apps. I want something a little more streamline. another reason why i'm not waiting for the Jolla Sailfish joint.

any help would be nice. I don't have many options.. I'm thinking of a GSM version of the Motorola Droid. it seems to be similar spec wise, but I've never had an android device. And I know they don't...

my "new" N900 that i just got from eBay and updated to cssu turned out to be a refurbished phone with Chinese parts. I discovered this when I opened it up and saw the characters over...

I just got the n900 updated to cssu. Does anyone know if it will still receive updates the same way when i was on 1.3 or is there another way to receive updates for cssu?

thanks for the information. I didn't know that it was so highly recommended to get cssu on the n900.. I guess it makes sense. I've gotten more help from the community then i have from Nokia anyways. ...

Does upgrading to CSSU have any drawbacks or problems?
Is it not compatible with any mainstream apps?
I'm really hesitant because I hear it's uninstallable.
